Integration of pedagogical higher institution and school on realization of program of functional literacy development in the RK

20th of May, 2014 at Kostanay state pedagogical institute was carried out a round table on the theme "Integration of pedagogical higher institution and school on realization of program of functional literacy development in the Republic of Kazakhstan".
In the work of round table participated representatives of Education Management of Kostanay region, city department of education of Kostanay's akimat, methodists of regional Education Departments, managers and teachers of general educational schools of the region - total more than 50 guests.
The roundtable was attended by deans, heads of chairs of the university, the chairmen of teaching faculty offices.
The goal of the session was a discussion of key issues of the essence of functional literacy and realization of National plan of actions on development of learners' literacy during 2012-2016 and to make recommendations on support initiatives school teachers to develop functional literacy of students.At the round table discussions were submitted questions:
- Functional literacy of students: essence, structure and components;
- Formation of concept about functional literacy and ways of its assessment;
- Ways of modeling methods for constructing an independent trajectory of professional development of teachers in terms of administration of functional literacy of students;
- Using modern effective technology, allowing achieving particular metasubjects, subjects and personal results in conditions of realization of National plan on development of functional literacy.
