Extended meeting on issues of education management

On March 10, 2017, on the basis of Kostanay State pedagogical institute at 3:00 pm, there was the enlarged meeting of the department of education with the participation of the region akim Mukhambetov A.B. and also, akims and deputy akims of districts and cities, heads of state bodies, heads of departments of education, universities' rectors, and the pedagogical community. In total, more than 450 people attended the meeting. The meeting was dedicated to the development of the region's education because of the Address of the President of the country to the people of Kazakhstan, where the sphere of education is defined as the central link of the new model of economic growth.
Within the framework of the meeting, topical issues of the education system were considered, such as:
- Change in the passing of final certification (school graduates): problems and perspectives;
- Introduction of trilingual education, the degree of readiness of universities and schools to include the trilingual education;
- Issues related to the implementation of free vocational education, etc.
Among the speakers was the rector of Kostanay state pedagogical instituteб doctor of historical sciences, Professor Abil Erkin Amanzholovich. He highlighted questions of the relationship between the university and the school in the because of changing issues in the education system. Separately, the rector stopped on the issues of training the teaching staff with the right to teach in English on the specialties "Biology", "Chemistry", "Geography", "Mathematics". Also he paid attention to the difficulties and prospects for the development of given direction.
He stopped at the Institute's achievements in recent years. This is the participation of the Institute in the international project ACADEMICA "Accessibility and Harmonization of Higher Education in Central Asia through the Modernization of the Curriculum and Development" and in scientific projects which realized within the framework of grant funding by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the expansion of geography for making agreements with foreign universities.
