Learning and educational center of language training
Learning and educational center of language training was formed in March, 2014 as a department of Foreign Language Faculty on an order № 16 from 28.04.2014 and teachers of the center teach students on all non-language faculties of Kostanay State Pedagogical University. Since September, 2014 the center has been headed by the master of pedagogical sciences, the senior teacher Abisheva Saule Kabzhanovna.
The aim and the goal of the center is: training of competitive experts who possess practical skills of the colloquial and household speech and language of specialty for active using of the state and foreign languages both in daily and in professional communication, capable to carry out continuous self-learning and to upgrade their qualification during life thanks to language skills.
The teaching staff of the learning and educational center of language trainingconsists of masters of the sciences and experienced teachers who train students on the state and foreign languages on non- language specialties.
The teachers of the center teach the following disciplines: foreign language (English, German), practical foreign language, professional focused foreign language (English, German), kazakh language, professional kazakh language , hotel industry in English (specialty "Tourism").
Learning and educational center of language training actively works in all directions: teaching and guiding, scientific research and educational work.

Teaching and guiding work
Teaching and guiding work takes the main place in center’s activity. The teaching staff of the center constantly works on the designing of educational and methodical complexes on disciplines of the center for all bachelor degree specialties, educational editions and training and methodology publications, so as on the electronic media necessary for educational process.
Teachers of the center use the innovative technologies and new methods of training allowing to intensify cognitive activity, to strengthen self-training, to increase educational process quality.
Lessons on state and foreign languages are carried out with the use of modern technical means, educational editions and training and methodology literature of the leading world publishing houses (for example, Oxford, Hueber, Longman, etc.).
The staff of the center constantly increases their professional qualification by participating in regional, republican, international conferences, seminars and trainings which are organized by Embassies of France and Germany in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Teachers of the center actively participate in workshops. They realize the international cooperation development with Goethe Institute, French Alliance.
Abisheva S. K., Kuskadamova K.S., Bikenova G. S. are the members of German teachers’ association. It allows to take part in the international symposiums, conferences, seminars, forums, webinars, online courses.
All teachers of learning and educational center of language trainingimprovetheir professional skills on actual problems in foreign languageteaching methods, development and use of multimedia and interactive means in educational process etc.:
- training abroad on educational grant programs;
- language internship in Europe;
- participation in foreign scientific-practical and methodical workshops, as well as in workshops, organized by educational institutions (DAAD, Goethe-Institute, etc.);
- at ATF of E.A Buketov KarSU, KazUIR&WLand other universities of Kazakhstan.
From July 31, 2016 to August 13, 2016 Abisheva S.K. took part in a language seminar
“German Teaching Methodology” in the city of Bonn (Federal Republic of Germany).
From 27.08.2017 to 09.09. , 2017 Kuskadamova K.S. took part in a language course “Methods of teaching German” in Schwäbisch Hall (Federal Republic of Germany).
Senior teachers Khasenova K.R. and Suleimenova G.M. upgraded their qualification in the UK.
All teachers attended courses at the Republican Institute for Professional development of leading and research-pedagogical staff of education system of the Republic of Kazakhstan JSC National Center for professional development «Orleu» in Almaty.

Research activity
Research activity of the teaching and educational center of language preparation is carried out according to the republican concept of education and educational strategy developed by the management of university. Research activity of the center is defined by the subject "Actual Problems of Teaching the Professional Focused Language in Not Language Higher Education Institution".
The teaching staff of the center regularly participate in different scientific and practical seminars, symposiums and conferences of republican, international scale (in the foreign and neighboring countries) on problems of the theory and practice of a technique of teaching English.
The center conducts the main scientific researches in the field of a technique of teaching state and foreign languages, application of innovative methods and development of the professional focused language training.
The teaching staff of the center actively participates in the publication of scientific articles in foreign editions: international scientific and practical conference (Russia, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Poland, Great Britain), republican scientific and practical conference (Almaty, Aktobe, Astana), scientific magazine "KGPU Bulletin".

Educational work
The purpose of all educational actions of the center is the formationof moral human being, patriotic feeling, cultural awareness, future citizen with a sense of responsibility, capable to make the decision and to change life situations.
In the center there are 2 clubs: “Til Tanu“ and „English club“.The club of the informal English conversation. Thanks to that all actions are held in the state and English languages, students gain skills of presentation, performance in language before audience that stimulates interest in studying language and overcoming language barrier.
Actively participating in life of university and faculty, teachers annually hold the subject olympiаds among students of non- language specialties, seminars on topical theoretical and practical issues of teaching foreign languages which gain the special importance in modern conditions.
