On April 22, 2020, a student scientific and practical conference "Problems and prospects of philological science in the context of modern education" was held in the direction of training teachers of the Russian language and literature. The conference was held online in the new conditionals. The conference was attended by students of 2 - 4 courses of the specialty "Russian language and literature" and students of the Kostanay branch of the Chelyabinsk State University.
The conference was held in two sections: section "Literary process" (head Pchelkina T., Ph.D., associate professor of the Department of Philology), section "Actual problems of linguistics and methods of teaching the Russian language" (head Segizbaeva K., Ph.D., associate professor of the Department of Philology).
The topics of the presented reports were very diverse: features of the development of the literary process, issues of the applied nature of linguistics and teaching methods.
The speech of Yuri Cheranyov, student of the Kostanay branch of the Chelyabinsk State University, on the activities of the “Read, Kostanay!” Social project, was not indifferent. Department of Philology. The topic of the report is “Why we read: about the project“ Read, Kostanay!”, The project of the Department of Philology of the Kostanay branch of the Chelyabinsk State University. Topics of speeches by third-year students I. Samokhina “Traditions of I. Krylov fables in the legacy of A. Baitursynov” and Kulmanova D. “The specifics of family speech” were the result of research in problem groups.
