On June 22, 2020, an unusual holiday was held in all respects - a graduation party at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism! For the first time in 80 years of the university’s existence, this holiday was held in a new, dictated by the epidemiological situation, format - an online meeting. Nevertheless, both teachers and graduates, junior students and parents of graduates took part in this event. Graduation 2020 can truly be considered historical and stellar; this year 3 masters of sports of international class, 4 masters of sports, 8 candidates for masters of sports are graduated from the walls of alma mater.
Remote technologies expand horizons and make many processes accessible. So for the majority of teachers, further education courses conducted by leading teachers of Nazarbayev University became possible. From the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, the courses were studied by the head. For almost two weeks, teachers at Nazarbayev University shared their experience in the design of educational programs, on management and leadership in education.
The graduation period is just around the corner and each graduate will face the acute question of choosing a profession, because the whole future life of the graduate depends on this issue. What is important today is the question of what educational programs we can offer applicants, what they are aimed at, what competencies graduates will have, what are the advantages of our educational programs over others. It was these issues and a number of others that were voiced at the open day of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, which was held on April 29 on the Microsoft Teams platform.
According to the schedule of the educational process, the last stage in the organization of the educational process is undergraduate practice. The result of undergraduate practice is the carrying out of pre-diploma work. According to the educational programs "Physical Culture and Sports", "Tourism", from April 20 to April 28, pre-graduation theses for full-time students were conducted.For the first time, the pre-diploma thesis procedure took place in the form of distance learning. To undergo the pre-defense procedure, the student had to conduct his work through the Anti-Plagiarism, the percentage of originality of the thesis should be at least 70%
On April 24, an online meeting was held on the KSPU Conference On-Line platform of the KSPU conference with 1-3 year students of the tourism and physical education and sports programs of the full-time faculty of physical education, sports and tourism in training and conducting a summer examination session.All the students' questions were answered by the dean of FFKSiT Kifik N.Yu., deputy. Dean Shkvarenko N.S., Head. Department TiPFKSiT Ogienko N.A. We noticed that the examination session will be in the usual format.
On April 22 and 23, a student scientific-practical online conference was held at the Department of Theory and Practice of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism on the topic "Actual Issues of the Formation and Development of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism". April 22, the conference was held for the educational program "Tourism", April 23, the conference was held for the educational program "Physical Culture and Sports". The main purpose of this conference was to test the topics of research work of graduate students.
On April 17, meetings were held on-line on the KSPU Conference On-Line platform of the KSPU conference with full-time and part-time students of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Department of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism theses on the preparation and conduct of the final state certification.The greatest number of questions the students had regarding the passage of the thesis through the Moodle (Turnitin) procedure. The students were interested in how many attempts are made, what requirements, whether the degree of uniqueness of theses will be reduced.
So the VIII winter universiade has ended. With what results did our team come to the finish line? In the period from February 20 to March 15, a winter student winter sports universiade was held. The following sports were announced in the program: cross-country skiing, relay race, all-around, curling, orienteering, biathlon. For all declared sports, the Kostanai State Pedagogical University named after U. Sultangazin put up teams of athletes. In almost all types except orienteering, our students won awards of various merits. Students demonstrated most of the awards and achievements in cross-country skiing, in which for all kinds the entire podium remained with the national team of our university. Especially in cross-country skiing, the university women's team distinguished itself.
On March 10, in the city of Ridder, as part of the VIII Winter Universiade, the 10 km race was a classic move. The female part of the KSPU team showed a very decent result, having won the entire podium: 1st place - Ksenia Shalygina, 4th year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"; 2nd place - Maria Luft, 2nd year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"; 3rd place - Kinibaeva Laura, 1st year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports".
The second competitive view of the VIII Winter Universiade was curling. Competitions were held in Almaty at the Almaty Arena stadium. Team of Kostanay State Pedagogical University named after U. Sultangazina presented a team of boys and a team of girls for this type.Curling competitions were attended by students of the track and field specialization who did not own this sport professionally.
