The graduation period is just around the corner and each graduate will face the acute question of choosing a profession, because the whole future life of the graduate depends on this issue.
What is important today is the question of what educational programs we can offer applicants, what they are aimed at, what competencies graduates will have, what are the advantages of our educational programs over others. It was these issues and a number of others that were voiced at the open day of the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism, which was held on April 29 on the Microsoft Teams platform.
The preliminary preparatory work was carried out jointly with the selection committee and the regional center of physical education and youth tourism in the person of the head of the center Bimurzin K. U. Students of Kostanay city schools - lyceum № 2, Rudny school, gymnasium № were able to connect to the event 5, Lisakovsk - school №6. Also, graduates of the Nadezhdinsky secondary school and the Vladimirovsky secondary school of the Kostanai region and students of the Kamystinsky secondary school of the Kamystinsky district of the Kostanay region
The open door program included information on the characteristics of the faculty, educational programs, and their features. Teachers implementing educational programs were represented. The dean of the FPCSaT Kifik N.Yu. made a welcoming speech and a characteristic of the faculty. Head Chair of Theory and Practice of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism was Ogienko N.A. The deputy dean Shkvarenko N.S. spoke about the features of extracurricular life at the faculty. At the open day, graduate students of the tourism and physical education and sports educational programs also performed. So, Grigorieva Valeriya voiced questions about the possibilities of studying at the faculty presented, namely: participation in project activities, in various student programs. So Valeria dwelled in more detail on the program of academic mobility, according to which she studied for 6 months in Lithuania. Nasyrova Sholpan told about the possibilities of another program, “Internships in luxury hotels in Turkey,” which in addition dwelled on issues of training at a university, noted the role of practitioners in the educational process. One more student program was told by graduate student Darushkanov Rustem, who introduced those present to the dual education program, which gives students the opportunity to both study and work. He told what opportunities this program gave him, what skills he mastered.
Applicants were also presented with material related to the deadlines for submitting documents, types of documents, deadlines for passing creative exams. All clarifications applicants were able to get from representatives of the selection committee of KSPU. W. Sultangazina.
It should be noted that applicants were quite active, asking questions to both students and teachers. There were many questions about the passage of UNT.
Thus, graduate students were able to get acquainted with the features of the educational programs of the faculty, as well as with the possibilities of various programs implemented both at the university and at the faculty.
