It is already a month as I have been a volunteer of the project of "English for Zhastar"

Within the project of "Nur Otan" party - "English for Zhastar" this year several volunteers have been sent from the different areas of Kazakhstan to villages. On September 20 after the conference students have left to the appointed areas accompanied by the first chairman of the party of Nur Otan.
The special room where classes are given in English has been allocated to students. In the first day students have held online testing for determination of level of language knowledge. Each student has created 2 groups (elementary and pre-intermediate), in each group till 20-25 of pupils. Classes are given daily for 2 hours with each group on the basis of NISH textbooks, in the program developed especially for this project by Bolashak association which is aimed at the development of informal conversation. At the moment 141 experts from our country who know English at the advanced level are involved to realization of tasks of the Project.
5 students of our university of philological faculty participate in this project: Alekseeva Darya Evgenyevna, Ukanova Alina Erikovna, Meyrmanova Ayagoz Myrzabekovna, Turarova Akzhan Bauyrzhanovna, Abdrakhmanova Madina Manarovna.
Alekseeva Darya has shared the impressions:
"I am one of volunteers in this project. What does our task consist of ? First of all, to help children to break a language barrier and to learn informal language. For anybody not a secret that there are certain problems with language, especially in rural areas often there isn't enough teachers, and people are interested to learn a foreign language enough therefore, I consider, it is a fine opportunity for pupils. Children will be able to fill up the lexicon, to cease to hesitate to speak a foreign language, to learn a lot of new and interesting. And for volunteers – an opportunity to practice the knowledge, to fix them, and, perhaps, to receive new.
How do there take place occupations within the project? Interestingly and productively! Pupils perfectly perceive information, participate in discussions. By me it has been noticed that best of all children remember information and new words through such form of work as a game.
Whether it is pleasant to me to work with children at rural school? Yes. Children are positive, very active, with pleasure attend classes and unconditionally perform all tasks given them".
