Moderators of the seminar are Candidate of Biological Sciences Borodulina O.V. and Master of Biology Bobrenko M.A.
The multilingual department of the specialty "Biology" was created at the department 7 years ago. Thus, we have already made 3 graduations of students who are demand in the labor market, working not only in Kostanay, but also in Astana and other cities of the country.
During this time, there was a contingent of teachers who work in English, their list is constantly expanding. It should be noted the desire of young teachers to work in this complex area and their desire to improve their language skills.
Three teachers of the department graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, two are currently studying. Most teachers of the multilingual department annually take courses in English. The level of proficiency in English of our teachers is constantly increasing, this can be observed even on the results of annual testing at the department of multilingual education. Teachers of the department Suyundikova Zh.T., Bozhekenova Zh.T., Koval V.V., Zagorulko V.V., Ergaliyeva E.M. graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Languages, Belan O.R., Akhmetchina T.A. currently being trained. The professors and teaching staff of the department annually take English language courses in the direction of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as independently.
The seminar discussed ways to effectively teach subjects in the language (English, Kazakh), colleagues stakeholders with NISH FMN Kostanay, the head of the Methodological Department K.I. Asanova geography teacher and Demesenov B.M. the biology teacher shared their work experience, also noted the good knowledge and language training of our graduates working at their school, the lack of a language barrier between schoolchildren and teachers.
The participants of the seminar noted the different level of English language skills of first-year students and to solve this issue, the KSPU organized additional language courses by the English School Study Inn.
