Environmental festival is dedicated to the international birds day for the preservation of the ornithofauna of the Kostanay region

April 2, 2019 at the Department of Natural Sciences held an event dedicated to the International Day of Birds, which is celebrated around the world on April 1. This event was prepared by the asset of the club “Fifi” for the students of 1-3 courses.
The event was traditionally opened with words of congratulations by the initiator of the creation of a bedvocherov club, the director of the Research Center for Problems of Ecology and Biology, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Bragina TM The meeting was also greeted by the club’s deputy curator and scientific consultants E.A. Bragin, E.A. Valyaeva, M.M. Rulyova. And then Ahmet Zhanbota congratulated the audience with the song "Waltz about Spring". Ahead were competitions for teams, tasks for knowledge, attentiveness and logic.
An annual event devoted to the Day of Birds in the department is not only an occasion to meet spring, enjoy beautiful music and solve interesting tasks. First of all, our goal is to attract as many people as possible to the issue of the conservation of avifauna. Every year in our country and around the world, the symbol of the bird of the year is elected. The Kazakhstan Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity (ACBK), together with the Union of Birds of Kazakhstan, selected the Bird of the Year 2019 - the bustard.
You do not need to be a specialist ornithologist to participate in the preservation of this and other species of birds. Scientists ornithologists present at the event urge all bird lovers, regardless of their professional affiliation, to study and preserve this group of animals.
