Curator hour «100 New Textbooks»

October 24, 2019 at the Department of Natural Sciences as part of the project «100 new textbooks in the Kazakh language» by students of 1, 3 courses of the specialty «Chemistry» and «Biology» of the Kazakh department and teachers Suyundikova Zh.T. and Ardakova E.A. a presentation was organized by Alan Barnard’s books “Anthropology: history and theory”, as well as Lee Ann Peck, Guy S. Rila, “Media Ethics. From the Practice of Young Professionals”.
The purpose of the presentation: to acquaint students with the textbook, to introduce the younger generation to the global intellectual values and to promote higher education levels of the younger generation.
Students Ahmet Zhanbota, Abdyrakhman Moldir, Erkesh Zibagul, Shaltenova Aitolkyn, Aliaskar Tansulu, Myrzagalieva Zhaina, Mkhanova Asemkul, Uskenbay Aidana, Sapi Aida, Ibraeva Ayman, Kabdyrakhmanova Gulim, Zharkinova Amina presented books translated under the project «100 new textbooks».
Based on the presentations presented, they talked about the content, structure, and authors of these books. The presentations aroused students' interest, the following issues were discussed: the problem of interaction in the media, academic integrity, the theory of diffusionism and cultural regions, functionalism and structural functionalism.
In the age of globalization, it is extremely important to form a new generation that will accept all current challenges and threats of time. The main tool for this is education.
