The manager of KGPI ANC department Evdokimova O.N. has told about history of emergence and traditions of a holiday of Day of Gratitude, making the report in regional prosecutor's office on March 1, 2018.
In the performance she has noted that this young holiday has already got accustomed among Kazakhstan citizens. Positively the fact that the idea of a holiday was quickly picked up by youth and it means that it is a holiday for youth. He teaches us to be amicable, sympathetic, keeps the values put in the mentality of the Kazakh people, in his history and culture and the patriotic act.
On the eve of this day in all educational institutions, the museums, the organizations of culture hold concerts, meetings, thematic evenings, exhibitions, etc.
At the Kostanay state teacher training college there are a lot of actions directed to promoting of the program, development of the volunteer organizations and mediation in RK, strengthening of solidarity and friendship, adjustment and development of social communications too.
This holiday – a tribute of all ethos’s each other and to the Kazakhs who have shown mercy and accepted as native representatives of different ethos’s during mass deportation to Kazakhstan.
As has marked out Evdokimova O.N., the name of the holiday "Day of Gratitude" often confuse "Thanksgiving Day" which basis other, not such tragic events are with a public holiday of the USA and Canada. Initially this in family - the religious holiday meant gratitude to heaven for a rich harvest and for abundance of fruits. As we see, ideological filling of this holiday a little differently, than the holiday Day of Gratitude.
In the performance Evdokimova O.N. has stopped on some literary works ("Boortsogs of my childhood" of Z.S. Chumakova; "Curt – gemstone", the poem by R. Golubeva; M. Magauina "Children of one father") in which difficult years of totalitarian regime, deportation of the people to Kazakhstan and the period of Patriotic war are mentioned. Events of these sad pages of history have formed the basis of Day of Gratitude in Kazakhstan.
"Day of gratitude coincides with the first day of spring. And it means that the holiday bears in itself heat, love and hope for the best for all people living on the boundless Kazakh earth. Let this memorial remind us, Kazakhstan citizens that we have to be grateful each other. We have one Homeland, and together with her – the general past, the present and the future, one country, one destiny", - Evdokimova O.N. has summed up the speech.
