“Humanities in the 21st century through the eyes of young people”: International online conference for students was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences

The present stage of development of the social and human sciences is associated with the search for solutions to the global problems of mankind, which also have a complex interdisciplinary character. The range of problems is also expanding: along with the problems of international security, the struggle for disarmament, demographic and environmental problems, the problem of “vandalization” of culture has appeared. The article by NursultanNazarbayev “7 facets of the Great Steppe” is about the continuation of the “Rukhany Zhangyru” state program, about specific projects that the achievements of the national culture will be presented at a new level. The processes of globalization and informatization further stimulate the integration of the social sciences and humanities.
The aim of the international online conference "Humanities through the eyes of youth" was to increase the craving for education and research activities among students, as well as the development of intercollegiate and international relations, as well as the improvement of language skills. The conference was held in English. The teaching staff of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities and KA CSU constantly provides assistance to students to participate in such international scientific conferences.
The conference was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Kostanay State Pedagogical University. There were heard articles by students of KA CSU and the Faculty of Social and Humanities of the KSPU devoted to the current problems of the humanities and society. The working language of the event was English.
PhD, Associate Professor Viktoria V. Danilova, who moderated the conference, welcomed the conference participants and noted the importance of the problems addressed at the conference and wished creative victories to all students. Representatives of our university were students of the 2-3 courses of the specialty of "History" - Sultan Kozhamberdiev, AidanaIdrisova and students of the specialty of "Fundamentals of Law and Economics" - DaurzhanMatugulov, Arai Arbashova. The students reviewed the problems of digitalization of science and increasing interest in the history of the citizens of Kazakhstan, through the introduction and use of a three-dimensional QR code and an audio guide "Travel Easily", as well as a modern credit policy in Kazakhstan.
The discussion was attended by Vice-Rector on Internationalization of the KSPU Eva Smetanova and Professor of Trnava University. Cyril and Methodius Andrea Baranovska (Slovakia).
From the side of CSU, the reports were delivered by the students Roman Dvurechensky, Arthur Ludovskikh and Christina Masliy.
At the end of the event, all participants were awarded with certificates, and the moderator of the conference, the dean of the SHF, Ph.D., professor of KSPU, ZamzagulShakhaman, announced the news - the Government Decree conferring the name of our outstanding countryman, scientist, laureate of the USSR State Prize Umirzak Sultanazin.
