Students meeting with Kostanay sculpture artist Mukhamedkali Rakhaliyev

On November 28, in the library of Kostanay State Pedagogical University at 16 30 a meeting of students of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities with Kostanay sculpture artist Mukhamedkali Rakhaliyev took place. The meeting was attended by students of the specialty "History" and "Visual Arts and Drawing". The meeting was organized by students of the 3rd year of the specialty “Fine arts and drawing” of the Kazakh branch of Zhumabayeva Linara, Sapi Gulzat and the teacher of the department of arts Ordasheva Miramgul Zhonysbekovna. The meeting was held as part of the implementation of the President’s program article “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”, which was a continuation of the national program “Rouhani Zagiru”.

The meeting was held in the form of a conversation - the students asked questions about the creativity of the Kostanay artist and his main works, which are located in the city of Kostanay. Mukhametkali Rakhaliyev shared bibliographical facts with students: he read a lot of Kazakh literature and books in Russian; went in for sports (wrestling and swimming), always occupied first places. He told a lot of interesting and funny life stories. This year, Mukhamedkali Rakhaliyev exhibited his work in the UAE. From there, he brought a small collection of works, which reflect the usual passers-by.
