Seminar "Possibilities of using information technologies in physical culture, sports and tourism"

February 12 at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism held a seminar with teachers of the faculty on the topic: "The possibilities of using information technology in physical culture, sports and tourism", conducted by Ph.D. in Pedagogics, associate professor of the South Ural State University (Chelyabinsk) Fedorov Alexander Ivanovich.

During the seminar, a survey of teachers was conducted to determine the level of initial knowledge on the problem of information technology. The seminar was built on the basis of the presentation and use of the Internet (demonstration of the possibilities of information resources). At the beginning of the conversation, Alexander Ivanovich gave examples of how information technology is used in sport at the present stage. During the seminar, Fedorov voiced the questions "Objectives of informatization of the society", "Formation of the information educational environment", "Formation of information readiness of teachers". He separately dwelt on the educational resources of universities and their capabilities, turned to the issue of creating and developing a network of CMCs.

At the end of the seminar, a discussion took place on the issues of interest to teachers. Fedorov Alexander Ivanovich presented to the faculty his books and journals on topical problems of informatization of education at the present stage.
