Ceremonial parade dedicated to the honoring of the Olympic team of the Republic of Kazakhstan

February 9, 2018 in the Ice Palace held a solemn parade dedicated to honoring the members of the Olympic team of Kazakhstan, the natives of the Kostanay region. Students of KSPI, including students and teachers of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism, took an active part in the event.
6 students of our faculty took part in the solemn ice show:
- Melnik Roman - master of sports in speed skating, multiple winner and champion of the Cups of the Republic of Kazakhstan on skates.
- Yevgeny Bondarenko is a master of sports in cross-country skiing, a multiple champion of republican competitions, a silver medalist of the World Winter Student Games, a multiple winner and champion of international competitions.
- Zabolotniy Alexey - master of sports in speed skating, multiple prize-winner and champion of the Cups of the Republic of Kazakhstan on skates, former member of the national team of Kazakhstan.
- Tynbayev Zhanseit is a master of sports in short track, multiple champion of republican competitions, multiple winner and champion of international competitions.
- Abdrakhmanova Gauhar is a candidate for master of sports in judo, bronze medalist in the Sambo Universiade, champion of republican judo tournaments, repeated champion of the region in judo and sambo.
- Antonov Victor - a member of the basketball team of KSPI, an activist of the faculty of physical culture, sports and tourism.
Also, the administration, teachers and activists of the Institute came to support the Kostanay Olympians as fans and spectators.
In the Olympic team included 3 natives of Kostanay region:
- Anastasia Krestova - master of sports of international class in short track, bronze medalist of Universiade 2017.
- Vitaly Puhkalo is a silver medalist of the Universiade, an international master of sports in cross-country skiing.
- Denis Kuzin - Honored Master of Sports of the RK, world champion in speed skating.
Recall that the team also included two other students FFKSiT, masters of sports of international class, natives of other regions, Shamukhanov Yerkebulan and Zhaksybaev Mersaid.
