Prize winners of the VΙΙ Winter Universiade among universities of Kazakhstan

On March 11, VΙΙ winter Universiade among higher education institutions was completed. The Universiade lasted 10 days, 36 teams from the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in it in nine sports. The team of the Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute was represented by athletes in cross-country skiing, presidential all-around, winter sports orienteering, kettlebell lifting, powerlifting, futsal, and wrestling kazak kuresi. On the last day of the Universiade, powerlifting competitions were held.
The first place in their weight categories won:
- Khalilov Binali is a 3rd-year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"
- Moldagaliev Adlet 2nd year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"
- Krupsky Nikita is a 4th year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"
- Zhavoronkov Anatoly, 3rd year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"
- Turmin Julianna is a fourth-year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"
2nd place
- Rybalko Sofia 4th year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"
3rd place
- Boykova Daria 3-year student of the specialty "Physical Culture and Sports"
As a result of the winter Universiade, the team of the Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute took 2nd place!
The team of KGPI has won awards in the following sports:
- 1 place among men on skis;
- 3 place among women on skis in five nominations;
- 2nd place is the presidential all-around among men;
- 5 place the presidential all-around among women;
- 1 place in kettlebell lifting;
- 1 place in powerlifting among men;
- 3 place in powerlifting among women;
- 3rd place in futsal.
In the individual competition students of the KSCI won more than 50 medals, the most skiers were won.
