On-line meeting at the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism

November 28, 2018 passed the International Student Online meeting on the theme “The system of practical training of future professionals in the field of tourism and service in the context of credit technology training.” 4 courses of the specialty “Tourism” KSPU and students of the 1st course of the specialty “Tourism” of the University “Turan” (Almaty), teachers of the department of TPPES, Tutor of the University “Turan” Petrishcheva N.E. Lecturers of the University “Turan” (Almaty), Doctor of Economics, Andrei Klapitsa, Director of the non-profit organization for the economy and development of tourism in Slovakia, Piestany region. Doctor of Philosophy, Tatyana Letasovska, professional traveler, specialist of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, Slovaki.
The objectives of this online meeting were: exchange of views between the participants; formation of interaction skills; education of students' personal qualities; preparing students for professional communication; formation of the ability to express your opinion. During the on-line meeting with the students the following issues were discussed:
- Practical experience in organizing and conducting activities in active forms of tourism;
- Practical experience in organizing and conducting internships in tourist services in the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries
Practical experience of participation in practical activities of tourist organizations (tour operators, travel agents) On the same day, a seminar was held for the faculty of the faculty on the topic "Features of the content of professional tourist education and methods of teaching tourist disciplines."
Teachers considered issues related to the peculiarities of teaching methods of tourist disciplines; formation of professional competencies of future specialists in the field of tourism in practical classes; prospects for cooperation and the possibility of developing joint research and innovation projects; prospects for the organization of student and teacher exchange in the framework of academic mobility and in the framework of internships; innovative technology training in the field of tourism. The conversation was substantive and cognitive.
Students had the opportunity to practice English in communication with representatives of Slovakia. They learned a lot of interesting things in communication with students from the University "Turan", but at the same time they were able to share the peculiarities of training in the specialty "Tourism" at the KSPU. The meeting resulted in the signing of a joint cooperation agreement with the Turan University in terms of joint activities, conferences, and academic mobility of students and teachers.
