Methodological seminar «Joint development of OP «Special pedagogy»» at the Department of psychology and defectology

On March 06, 2020, at the Department of psychology and defectology of Kostanay state pedagogical University named after U. Sultangazin, a methodological seminar was held on the topic: «Joint development of the OP «6B01901 Special pedagog»».

The purpose of the methodological seminar: exchange of experience, activation of joint activities of all interested participants in the pedagogical process (students, employers, stakeholders) under the Educational program «6B01901 Special pedagogy» to improve the quality of education, training a competitive graduate in demand in the field of special and inclusive education.

The seminar was attended by leading experts of the city of Kostanay and Kostanay region working with children with Sens: Daniyarov S. I., Director of the KSU «Kostanay special boarding school №3 for children with the PLO» Department of education of akimat of Kostanay region; Tagaeva J. B., head KGU «The Cabinet of psycho-pedagogical correction of Kostanay city» Department of education of akimat of Kostanay region; Budilovskaya O. Yu., head teacher of KGU «Kostanay special school for children with Sens» Department of education of Kostanay region akimat; Kirilova N. M. teacher-speech pathologist KSU «Kostanay special school for children with Sens» Department of education of akimat of Kostanay region; Zaretskaya O. V., head of KSU «Rehabilitation centre» of Department of education of Kostanay region; J. B. Sadvokasova, head of KSU «Psychological-medical-pedagogical consultation» Department of education of akimat of Kostanay region; Nurpeisova A. A., psychologist KSU «Psychological-medical-pedagogical consultation» the Department of education animateclick region; Sadenova G. Zh., speech therapist of KSU «Psychological-medical-pedagogical consultation» Of the Department of education of the Kostanay region akimat, as well as teachers of the Department of psychology and defectology, students of the Russian and Kazakh departments of 2-3 courses of the Educational program «Special pedagogy (Defectology)».

The seminar discussed the current needs of employers in specialists in the field of «Special education». Participants of the seminar discussed the proposed topic with interest and noted the need to train specialists of «narrow specialization» (oligophrenopedagogues, speech therapists, sign language teachers, typhlopedagogues) for special and inclusive education institutions in Moscow. Kostanay and Kostanay region, made their proposals for further improvement of the Educational program «6B01901 Special pedagogy», as well as the organization of postgraduate education of University graduates in the following specialties: «Oligophrenopedagogics», «Speech Therapy», «Sign language Teaching», «Typhlopedagogics», «Special psychology». Students-defectologists of 2-3 courses were involved in a wide discussion of professional training issues, their opinion was also reflected in the results of training on the updated Educational program «6B01901 Special pedagogy».

At the end of the discussion of topical issues, all invited guests were awarded letters of thanks.
