The priority direction of the faculty of psychology and education is vocational guidance of students, familiarization with the world of professions.
According to the established plan of work aimed at assisting the student in choosing a career, the curators of groups Zhandauovoy Sh. E. and D. H. Kushmurzina cossarini the students of the 1st course of the specialty "Preschool training and education" and 2nd year students specialty "Pedagogy and methodology of elementary education" (Kazakh Department) during the winter vacations held vocational guidance work.
Serious work is being carried out within the framework of career guidance. According to the established plan of work aimed at assisting the student in choosing a career, the curator of the group and 1st year students of the specialty "Preschool training and education" (Kazakh Department) during the winter vacations held vocational guidance work. So Begali A. called for 37 school – Lyceum in Islandische region Syrdaryinskiy the area of the village Shaan, Konysbaeva Aruzhan – school number 220 of Kyzylorda oblast Aralsk City, Bulat U/ school №6. Arkalyk, Utegenova Arailym-school, Omarshanova of sarin gas, from the Turkestan region, Kentau town school "Turan", Shpek Balnur Shpak Glor - Turkish region, Kazygurt district, village Temsili, Karabay Gulzhan - Karakum school. The total number of students was 240 people.
Students told school graduates about the features of studying at the University, and about their specialty. The students asked questions. Many are interested in our UNIVERSITY.
