"Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism"

March 19 Advisor to the Rector of KSPI Shaimerden G.I. and students-volunteers of IPG participated in a roundtable at KSU named after A.Baitursynov: "Prevention of religious extremism and terrorism." The roundtable was a lively discussion on topical issues of prevention of religious extremism among students. During the discussion were covered various aspects of psychological dependence of adepts of mystical, charismatic and other pseudo-religious cults. Of particular interest was the report on methods of neuro-linguistic programming, which is actively used in recruiting new followers of various sects. At the end of the round table were expressed recommendations to make greater use of students of psychology in the work of informative and propaganda messages and groups of KSPI and KSU as volunteers.
