March 30, 2018 extended meeting of the Scientific and Methodological Council of the higher education institution.
The vice-rector for academic work and social issues Gulvira Musabekova moderated the meeting, reminding the audience that the university has started an active process of modernization of academic processes, including in the context of changing the status of the university, and every department and every department should take part in this process. The meeting continued according to the agenda.
At the beginning of the meeting the chairman of the Methodological Bureau of the Philological Faculty Balzhanova AM spoke. She reported on the results of the involvement of stakeholders in the design and evaluation of competence-oriented educational programs for undergraduate and graduate programs in accordance with the objectives of Modernization 3.0 (on the example of the Modular Educational Programs of the Faculty of Philology).
In the context of this issue, the head of the Office of Academic Programs is Associate Professor Olga Chernyavskaya presented a draft document on the expansion of the Regulation on the Involvement of Employers in the Educational Process and the Assessment of its Quality (R KSPI-08) on the level of interaction with stakeholders.
Another issue was devoted to the establishment of the Institute of Pedagogical Mentoring in the higher education institution. The Institute of Pedagogical Mentoring as a new professional community in the higher education institution is called upon to implement the model of accompanying the introduction of graduates of the higher education institution into the profession during the period of professional adaptation to the teaching and educational environment. The idea of this model of accompanying the introduction of graduates of the higher education institution into the profession in two directions - young university teachers and teachers in schools - belongs to the vice-rector on academic work and social issues Gulvira Mussabekova. Scientific and methodological support of community development will be carried out by the doctor of pedagogical sciences Rima Bekturganova. Responsible in the areas for the activities of pedagogical mentoring were appointed associate professor Kalimash Abdykalikova and assistant professor Natalya Vazheva.
Further at the meeting, the head of the Educational and Methodological Department Elmira Nauryzbayeva information on the state of preparation of documents for obtaining licenses for the implementation of postgraduate educational programs - magistracy was announced.
Director of the Information Library Center Inna Nechiporenko and the head of the Educational and Methodological Department Elmira Nauryzbayeva are also presented the results of the analysis of the state of educational and methodological provision of disciplines taught in English and the implementation of the Road map for the development of trilingual education for 2015-2020.
