Seminar on "Work Related Stress and Burnout and Copying Strategies"

From 21 to 27 November 2018, a seminar on "Work Related Stress and Burnout and Copying Strategies"was organized and held for the staff of Kostanay state pedagogical University. The seminar was conducted by Dr. PhD, psychologist, doctor of psychology from Slovakia Andrea Baranovska, University of St. Cyril and Methodius G. Trnava.
At the seminar, Andrea talked about the nature of stress, including the physiology of stress and how stress affects the human condition, touched two main emotions of stress. During this seminar, the possibilities of stress management and relaxation techniques were also considered. Much attention was paid to the topic of emotional burnout, as it is one of the most common barriers to professionalism, creativity and self-realization of the teacher is the emergence of professional burnout syndrome. This syndrome is considered one of the most dangerous professional "deformations" of those who work with people: teachers, social workers, psychologists, managers, doctors, journalists, businessmen and politicians - all whose activities are impossible without communication.
For teachers, Andrea spoke about long-term and short-term preparations for classes, a few points in the planning of the lessonwas point out, so that it can easily integrate into the entire learning process.
At the seminar, Andrea Baranovska showed how we behave in various stressful situations. During the lecture Andrea conducted several interesting trainings and experiments.
The seminar was successful and fruitful; the knowledge of the University staff will be able to apply in practice.
The seminar ended with the presentation of certificates.
