Features of the international life generate new tendencies in the higher education. Today in the world the common educational space assumes broad exchange of students of the universities of the different states. The international academic mobility grows every year and the Kostanay state pedagogical institute is a bright confirmation for it.
On December 28, 2017 the 4 year students of our institute, of philological faculty Petrova Natalya, Bakeeva Zarina, Asembay Marzhan and also the 3-year student of the same specialty Chunina Anna have returned to walls of native institute from Perpignan, the South of France, where they studied at the international university L'Université de Perpignan Via domitia framework of the program of the academic mobility during the first semester . In spite of the fact that French for girls is the second language of training, the entire period of stay in foreign country was for them productive and informative both concerning improvement of quality of knowledge of language, and in acquisition of new life experience.
Classes took place within four days a week and included such new subjects as the Press and media, Music and culture, the French economy and commerce, the Civilization / the Reasoned speech, the Analysis and synthesis of documents, Literature and history, etc. In total they had 10 subjects and after acquisition they passed examinations, the students had adequately mastered knowledge taught by the French professors who, according to girls, treat Kazakhstan and our students with great sympathy - for their diligence and a responsible approach to educational process.
Also during the training each student worked on the personal file on the chosen subject and has presented it at the end of the term as an independent research.
Besides educational activity at the university, the Kazakhstan students also participated in its public life. An example of that is the participation in "La fête des langues" - "A holiday of languages" where girls got acquainted locals with the Kazakh national peculiarities of life in Kazakhstan, our customs, traditions. Students note that many participants at the event with whom they managed to have a talk, knew much about our country, admired how it was amicable, that such big quantity of ethnoses lives in peace in so extensive territory.
Weekly 20 hour educational schedule allowed students to visit various museums, exhibitions, thematic fairs, to go to mountain campaigns, to travel, to get acquainted with the culture of France in daily situations. It is impossible to learn language, without having adjoined to it in various everyday situations, resolving the arisen issues, and just communicating with its native speakers. During the stay in Perpignan our students had got interesting acquaintances, faith friends that allows them even on arrival in Kazakhstan to continue communication.
At the end of the period of the academic mobility of the student, having returned home, they have brought a lot of positive emotions and invaluable knowledge, which they had got for the four months of training in France. They liked the process of study in L'Université de PerpignanVia Domitia, they sincerely advise to learn French, to seek for its knowledge as "Apprendre une langue, c'est la vivre" – "To learn language - means to live him".
