On December, 24, 2nd year students (FE 17-23) majoring in 5B011900 “Foreign language: two foreign languages” and learning German as a second foreign language, gathered in a festively decorated room to celebrate Christmas with songs, sketches and delicious pastries.
The participants did their best to make the day merry, memorable and informative. The event was bright and heartwarming for all involved. The bright holiday of Christmas in all languages is a symbol of hope and kindness. Such events conducted in a target foreign language are tremendously beneficial for mastering language skills and facilitating the love of a language in a form different from that of exercises in textbooks.
They show all the versatility of a language, revive an interest in it, bringing it closer to those who have devoted their lives to learning it.
