The cycle of master classes “Active Methods of Teaching English”

On January 11, 2019, the Polylingual Center of the Philological faculty of KSPI, organized the cycle of master classes "Development of the pedagogical skills and English level improvement" for the teachers who are carrying out the pedagogical actvity in English. Teachers of the Educational language preparatory center of the Philological faculty of KSPU Kuskadamova K.S., were involved to holding this action.
Integration of contents of the training program with teaching in English and improvement of the language competence of participants became the purpose of the program of master classes.
The program was constructed in the following directions: development of language skills, development of cogitative skills and activation of the previous knowledge and language.
During the master classes, teachers showed the integrated lessons focused on development and improvement of the main language skills of participants with use of modern technologies and methods of training. The main methods were: communicative, an immersion method, a method of physical response, a demonstration method and also the game technologies aimed at the development of critical thinking.
Participants at the event showed activity and interest when performing tasks and showed good level of proficiency in English. In the end of master classes participants and teachers received certificates.
