Robotics Olympiad among students in grades 9-11

On February 21, 2020, at the base of the U. Sultangazin Kostanay State Pedagogical University, the regional Olympiad in robotics among students of grades 9-11 was held for the first time. This event was organized by the regional scientific and practical center "Kostanay daryny" of the Education Department of the Akimat of the Kostanai region with the aim of identifying and developing students mastering general education programs of basic general and secondary education, creative abilities and interest in research activities; creating the necessary conditions to support gifted children; dissemination and popularization of scientific knowledge among young people; professional orientation of young people in the early stages of personality formation.
The jury received more than 35 applications. According to the Regulation, the Olympiad took place in 3 rounds: 1 round (in absentia) - writing an essay on a given topic, 2 round - solving problems and 3 round - protecting the project (presentation of the robot).
Each round was rated at 100 points.
By the decision of the jury, Dosmagambetov Yernar, a student of the 10th grade of the school of Gymnasium named after N. Naushabaev in the city of Tobyl, Kostanai district, took 1st place;
2 places:
- Victor Lizunkin, a student of the 11th grade of secondary school No. 7 of the city of Kostanay;
- Lyakhov Victor, a student of the 11th grade of secondary school No. 7 of the city of Kostanay;
- Adilzhan Shamshadinov, a student of the 11th grade of the S. Maulenov Gymnasium in the city of Kostanay.
3 places:
- Aidarbekova Aislu, a student of the 9th grade of the specialized school-lyceum-boarding school of information technologies "OZAT";
- Bataa Harzhaubai, a student of the 9th grade of Ubagan secondary school named after Y. Altynsarin Altynsarin district;
- Zhenisbekov Ruslan, a student of the 8th grade of school-gymnasium No. 7 named after B. Maylin of the city of Rudny.
All participants of the tournament received certificates of participation, and winners and prize-winners were awarded certificates.
