Mendeleev's birthday

On February 8, 2017, lecturers and students of specialty 5B011200-Chemistry were invited to "Kazakhstan-Kostanay" TV channel to participate in the live broadcast morning program "Tobyl Tany". February, 8^th is the birthday of the great Russian scientist, the author of the periodic law D.I. Mendeleev. Lecturers Abdykalikova K.A., Taurbaeva G.O. while a conversation with the hosts of the program were talking about the importance of chemical science in the development of society, the need for chemistry knowledge to maintain human health, about the achievements of the Department of Natural Sciences in training personnel for schools, scientific institutions and manufacturing enterprises. The conversation was also aimed at the vocational guidance of pupils. The students of Moldazhov Aziza, Baikalov Andrey, Tyrlybek Zhaina were talking about the reasons for choosing this specialty, their student life and their scientific interests.
