Seminar «CLIL in the classroom»

On January 10, 2017 in classroom 714 the seminar on the theme «CLIL in the classroom» was held by the senior teacher of foreign languages chair Balzhanova Aigul Magzhanovna for the teachers of the chair of natural sciences of faculty of natural sciences and mathematics.
The goal of the seminar is to discuss CLIL methodology and its use in teaching natural disciplines - biology, geography and chemistry at secondary school as a part of realisation of the updated program. CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) aims at teaching other subjects through foreign language.
The seminar was conducted with the help of the presentation, some handouts. During the seminar the teachers worked in microgroups discussing and doing some CLIL tasks, prepared SWOT - analysis.
