«The best teacher of the University»

In November 2017, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan realised a competition to conferment of title of "The Best University Teacher". As a result of the competition, three teachers of the Kostanay State Pedagogical Institute were awarded this honorary title. Among them is the teacher of the Cair of Natural Sciences, Candidate of Biological Sciences, associate professor Bragin Evgeniy A.
Evgeny Alexandrovich graduated from Rostov State University and worked for many years in the scientific department of the Naurzum State Nature Reserve. In 1989 he defended his thesis on the specialty "Zoology" at the Lenin Moscow State Pedagogical Institute. In 2002-2004, he lectured on courses "Zoology", "Zoogeography" at the Biology Cair of A. Baytursynov Kostanay State University. Since 2007 he has been working at the Natural Sciences cair of KSPI.
Bragin E.A. an author of more than 250 publications, including collective monographs, 23 publications co-authored in foreign journals from the database "Scopus" and Thompson Reuters "with a high impact factor.
Evgeny Alexandrovich is a scientific expert of the Convention on the Protection of Migratory Species of Animals from the Republic of Kazakhstan, Deputy Chairman of the Working Group on Falconates and Owls of Northern Eurasia, a member of the Menzbiri Ornithological Society, of the Kazakhstan Zoological Society, and of the Working Group on Gruiformes of Northern Eurasia.
He was awarded a bronze of the USSR EANE for achievements in the field of nature protection. In 2014 he was awarded a silver of the Association of Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Currently he leads the problem group on studying birds of SRC PEB KSPI, attracts students in research, advises a student's club of birdwachers, takes part in organizing various student actions which are helded at the chair and the faculty.
The administration of natural-mathematics faculty and the staff of the Natural Sciences cair sincerely wish Evgenii Alexandrovich further creative successes in the field of education, good health and students are enthusiastic of science!
