Day of wetlands - Ramsar sites of Kazakhstan. Results of the project QSPI - MES RK "Rare and Endangered Species of Animals in Kostanay Region"

Scientific and methodological seminar on the topic "Day of wetlands - Ramsar sites of Kazakhstan. Results of the project QSPI - MES RK "Rare and Endangered Species of Animals in Kostanay Region" was held on February 15 at the Department of Natural Sciences of the Natural-mathematical Faculty.
Teachers of the Department of Natural Sciences, D.B.S., Professor Bragina T.M., C.B.S., Professor Bragin E.A., Master of Biology, Senior Teacher Bobrenko M.A. and Master of Biology, senior teacher Ruleva M.M. were responsible for organizing and holding the seminar.
Dean of the MNF Sukhov M.V., Head of the Natural Sciences Department Ruchkina G.A., Departmental Manager of the Academic Programs Chernyavskaya O.M., Research Fellow of the Regional History Museum Andryushchenko A.V., teachers and students of the Department of Natural Sciences, learners of secondary school # 2 in Kostanay attended the seminar.
The seminar discussed issues of biodiversity conservation (Ramsar Convention, rare species). The results of the project on wetlands of the region are presented. For the first time, the significance of the region's wetlands at the global level was shown. 4 lake systems were included in the list of Ramsar sites. The foundation of the ICF project on the protection of flyways of waterfowl of the global importance of Northern Kazakhstan.
Also during the seminar there was a discussion of the specifics of preparation and realization of competitive research works on grant financing of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The results of the project KSPI - MES RK "Rare and Endangered Species of Animals in Kostanay Region" were discussed.
The organizers presented their monographs: "Methodological recommendations on protection and assistance to the restoration of rare species of animals of the Kostanay region", "Vertebrate animals of the Naurzum reserve", "Natural conditions and wildlife of the state natural reserve Altyn Dala" and "Rare and endangered species of animals (invertebrates, vertebral) of the Kostanay region".
At the end of the seminar, a discussion took place on the issues of interest.
