Department of natural sciences welcomes spring with a celebration of the «Day of birds»

April 1 is officially recognized around the world as the "Day of birds". Every year, the Department of natural Sciences holds events dedicated to this day. This year is no exception. 29 Mar teachers Bragina T. M., Bragin, E. A., Ruleva, M. M., Bobrenko M. A. and active members of the club to bird watchers "Fifi", with the support of SIC PEB of the KSPU, NGO "Naurzum" event was held "The Day of birds - 2018".
The opening of the holiday traditionally began the words of the Director of SIC PEB of the KSPU, the curator of the bird watchers club – Bragina T. M. scientific adviser of the club, Bragin E. A., and head of the Department of natural Sciences, Ruchkina G. A.
Also came to congratulate our students of the former teacher of our University, one of the best bird watchers in recent years and now head of the Department of natural Sciences, Nazarbayev intellectual schools, biology teacher Demisenov B. M.
After the greeting words of the presenters talked about the good tradition of the celebration of birds, the story of its origin, told the audience about the "Bird of the year 2018" - the great spotted woodpecker and on the activities undertaken by the state for the purpose of preservation of the species.
With present game consisting of different tasks - on logic, savvy knowledge of birds and even songs about them was carried out. Between the tasks gathered 1st year students of specialty "Biology" presented a beautiful song and dance of swans.
At the end of the event, a vote was held on the re-election of the club leader. The decision on appointment of the new leader of club of the student of the 1st course of specialty "Biology" Smirnova Angelina was unanimously made.
This event was attended by students of the specialty "Biology" from 1 to 3 course, the audience was filled with the atmosphere of celebration and student friendship!
