Social project "Digital Kazakhstan"

Within the social project "Digital Kazakhstan" students of specialty "Informatics" 1 of a course (the Kazakh, Russian, polylingual offices) of natural and mathematical faculty since January 5, 2018 conduct courses for pensioners. Project managers: Aytbenova A.A., Dauletbayeva G.B., Tsyganova A.D.
Purpose of this project: training of senior citizens of computer literacy for overcoming a problem of their inclusion on information Wednesday; formation of practical skills of work on the modern personal computer.
Main objectives of the project:
- to train in primary skills of work with the personal computer;
- to inform of the software package of Microsoft Office;
- to provide the necessary level of practical abilities of work on the personal computer, for the purpose of further use of the gained knowledge in practice of everyday life;
- to teach the listener to effective and safe work on the global Internet;
- to study process of receiving electronic services on the Internet;
- to expand possibilities of communication by means of the Internet;
- to study technology of use of information and communication means.
The program of computer training of senior citizens includes six modules:
- 1 module: development of primary skills of work with the personal computer (Desktop, main menu, panel of tasks. Performance of the main operations with files/folders, i.e. creation, opening, renaming, movement, copying, removal, creation of a label. Windows management. Installation of new programs and start of already established. Search of files on the computer. Work with replaceable external carriers);
- 2nd module: Development of programs of office (text editor of Word, tabular editor of Excel);
- 3rd module: development of the Internet (start of the browser, studying of search engines, opening of the website to the address, information search or the website on demand, saving the results of search);
- 4th module: communication on the Internet (development of e-mail, acquaintance to the Skype program, popular social networks, communication at forums, blogs);
- 5th module: Public services.
Courses are conducted on the basis of M. Gorky's gymnasium, every Friday at 15:00 o'clock.
