"80-year anniversary of Kostanay region"

On January, 25 at 15.00 the regional library named after Tolstoy L.N. held the opening of the exhibition of books dedicated to the 80-year anniversary of Kostanay region, where students of specialty "History", Faculty of History and Arts were invited as guests. The exhibition was divided into three parts, the first part of this "The history of the formation of Kostanay region", the second part - "Beautiful and flourishing city," which described development of different companies, building homes, parks, etc. and the third part - "Development of the country, development of the region" had description of modern Kostanay and its regions. The exhibition was completed with the speech of a chairman of the regional council of veterans of Kostanay region Ukin Kenzhebek Ukinovich and with congratulatory speech of Duysebaeva D.T., a head of library. Students were able to see large number of books, works of well-known local historians of Kostanay region, dedicated to the history of our region. This year has a lot of anniversaries dedicated to the events that occurred precisely in our region. This will be interesting and informative not only for students of historical specialty, but also for other students.
