Conflicts in society and new religious movements

The subject there took place the next occupation of School of mediation and national diplomacy on March 9 at the department of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan. As the invited expert the head of the department of KSU “Қоғамдық келісім” Mareninova Valentina Viktorovna and a mediator of the House of the friendship Navoyeva Marina Vladimirovna acted.

Due to the updating of illegal movements in the environment of the younger generation, and also the activity of new religious movements including by means of social networks the role of mediators in the decision of the public conflicts amplifies. Guests told students of School about methods of involvement of new adherents in the destructive religious organizations.
Valentina Viktorovna opened signs of the religious movements which use elements of the destructive direction, ways of impact on people on which reasons they address in cults. Students of school had an opportunity to participate in role-playing games and to understand the internal mechanism of emergence of the social conflicts because of the influence of the religious extremist organizations.

Occupation was followed by training and had practical character. The impact of cults on modern society is an urgent problem, especially in the environment for today. Students – future teachers expressed confidence that the read information, and also methods of prevention of destructive behavior will find the active application in their pedagogical and mediation activity.
