Online-conference «Multicultural education of the person as one of the priority areas of modern education »

On January 31, 2017, Associate Professor of department of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan of KSPI, PhD Kozybayeva Mahabbat Malikovna participated in the international practical online conference "Multicultural education of the person as one of the priority areas of modern education", conducted on the basis of the branch of JSC "National Center for Advanced Training "Orleu" of the Institute for Advanced Training of pedagogical workers in Kostanay region ".

The purpose of the online conference - the promotion of the best pedagogical ideas for ensuring the quality of education in a multicultural environment, the dissemination of advanced pedagogical experience and the professional skills of teaching staff.

The online conference was attended by teachers of the branches of JSC "Orleu", employees of education management departments, scientists, teachers of educational organizations. Foreign guests were university professors and employees of centers for advanced training, research institutes from the Russian Federation (Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Arkhangelsk), the Kyrgyz Republic, and the People's Republic of Donetsk (Donetsk People's Republic).

Associate Professor of department of the Assembly of the Peoples of Kazakhstan of KSPI, PhD Kozybayeva Mahabbat Malikov made a speech on the topic: "Formation of ethno-cultural tolerance as the main task of the APK in the education system", where she noted the main goals of the national ethno-policy in the sphere of education by the example of the activities of the departments of the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan.

Kozybaeva M.M. highlighted, that nowadays it is necessary to understand the results of national progress of the country by society and achieved goals of development of multiethnic Kazakhstani society. And opening the APK departments is conditioned by the systematization of the accumulated successful experience for 25 years of Independence of Republic of Kazakhstan. Nowadays, there are more than 25 similar departments in leading high educational institutions, there is the Republican Association of APK departments on the base of ENU named after Gumilev L.N., which main aim is the consolidation of efforts in making the unified methodological approaches in patriotic up-bringing of students' youth.

In her speech, Kozybaeva M.M. highlighted the role of the APK department of KSPI, established in September 2016. The goal of the department is to promote the activities of the APK in the up-bringing of student youth in the spirit of tolerance, patriotism, the strengthening of Kazakhstani's identity, as well as the implementation of state national policy in the sphere of saving inter-ethnic and inter-confessional consent and stability in society. On October 21, 2016, its solemn presentation timed to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held, as well as the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the APK and KSPI. The work of the APK department is based on the educational-methodical, scientific-research and educational directions.

The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan through the departments pays much attention to the development of multicultural education and inter-cultural communication, the up-bringing the culture of peace and interethnic harmony at students and lecturers; Issues of support of inter-confessional dialogue and tolerance in the youth environment through scientific and methodological support of teaching optional subjects, preservation and development of ethno-cultural identity. An active work is being done to create scientific and methodological support for the work of the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan, including the development of the humanistic concept of "Mangilik El".

In general, the work of the online conference took place in two directions: the up-bringing of a creative person in the conditions of a multicultural educational process and innovative technologies for the development of the polyethnic culture of the personality of pupils. The reports were accompanied by an active discussion, the results were summed up and priorities were determined in further cooperation, a publication of the conference proceedings material was planned.
