The child's place in the family mediation

On April 6, 2017 at the Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan department, at the School of mediation and national diplomacy, the occupation devoted to the family mediation on solution of problems, where the child acts as the central figure, took place. The family fights, first of all, affect the child, the centre of interests, and a peculiar apple of discord. The candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor of Psychology and Defectology of KSPI Demisenova Shnar Saparovna told about avoiding family fights in the course of education of the full-fledged personality, finding individual approach to the child.

Nowadays, during an era of globalization and loss of family values, family mediation is one of the most demanded types of mediation. The family mediator is an intermediary, who helps the arguing parties to conduct dialogue and to discuss problems to reach compromises to agree among themselves. Family mediation is crossed with such directions as family therapy and family consultation, which are focused on preservation of the family. The family mediation is engaged in couples from the moment of their gap and helps to resolve controversial issues, most of which often mention a way of life of the child after parting of parents. Thus, family mediation is a mediation which helps to reach consensus and regards as of paramount importance interests and needs of children.

In the family mediation, the mediator acts as the independent third party and gives support to the parties, it is difficult for them to find a common language. The emphasis is placed on the solution of problems, and in the future, but not on the defining of right and guilty in the past. The purpose of such procedure consists in the achievement of really effective arrangements.

The occupation was followed by the group trainings, which opened various conflict family situations, and participants were offered to resolve them, including, proceeding from personal experience. The fact that by means of the role-playing games, students could disclose those qualities which are usually inherent in parents of the good and bad child, for the purpose of avoiding of the negative behavior and modeling the best parties. Also during the practical occupation the model of the bans and extent of their influence on a child development, on formation of its creative and personal abilities was visually presented. It became clear that big problems in formation of the harmonious family relations consist in different approaches in education, and similar mistakes are usually made by young families.

During occupation students represented the family in the form of a tree. As a result the strong family was presented by our students a fragrant fruit-tree, of which wellbeing such values as love, mutual understanding, respect, similar approaches in education of children, culture are the cornerstone. We remind that the School of mediation will continue the work until the end of April, and constant listeners will receive certificates.
