Methodical seminar on the updated training program

On January 12, within the framework of interaction and cooperation of the Department of History of Kazakhstan with Nazarbayev intellectual school, a methodical seminar was held for teachers on the updated training program. The seminar was conducted by the teacher of the highest category of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, Erisheva Araylym. The aim of the seminar was to familiarize with the long-term plan for the implementation of the Model Curriculum on the subject "History of Kazakhstan" for grades 5-9 of the basic secondary education level for the updated content.

During the seminar, issues such as recommended preliminary knowledge, language objectives, the purpose of subject teaching, subject vocabulary and terminology, a series of useful phrases for writing, and sections of the long-term plan were highlighted. As an example, the lesson on "The life of ancient people in the territory of Kazakhstan" was shown. The teachers got acquainted with the methodological documentation on the updated education system, the main provisions of the criterial evaluation, as well as new textbooks on the History of Kazakhstan for grades 5 and 7.
