Intellectual game dedicated to March 1 - Thanksgiving Day, the program of Ruhani Zhanyrou and the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana

March 1, 2018 within the week of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, an intellectual game was held among the students of the city schools. The competition was dedicated to the 1st of March - Thanksgiving Day, the Ruhani zharyro program and the celebration of the 20th anniversary of Astana. This competition was organized by the teachers of the chair Elkey N.N. and Muratly Dastan.
Experts and methodologists of the educational and methodical department were invited to the intellectual game. Three teams took part in the game - "Alғyrlar" from the secondary school №15, "Dostyk" from the secondary school №115 and "Altyn қanat - Aқ Orda" from the secondary school №17. The game began with the greetings of the participants and continued with presentation by the members of the jury. It included: Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan - Ph.D., Professor Bekmagambetova M.Zh., Ph.D., Associate Professor Isenov O.I. and the young scientist-historian - master of pedagogical sciences Abenov D.E.
Then a video was shown about the historical significance of the Day of gratitude and deportation of entire nations to Kazakhstan in 1930-1940, prepared by the organizers of the intellectual game. Intellectual game consisted of 4 rounds. The first round - presentation of the team and the school, the second round - quiz questions, the third round - "Golden Chest", the fourth round - the protection of the video.
If the first round was held in an arbitrary form, then in the second round each team was asked a few questions about the history and attractions of the city of Astana. In the contest "Golden Chest" the participants had to find the missing words in the given proverbs and translate it into Russian and English. During the last round the representative of each team defended the pre-prepared video on the given topic.
As a result, according to the decision of the judiciary, the seats were distributed as follows: 1st place - the Altyn khanat-Aқ Orda team of the secondary school No. 17, the second place - the Dostyk team from the secondary school No. 115 and the third place - the Alғyrlar team from secondary school number 15. Winning teams were awarded diplomas of I, II, III degrees, the textbook "History of Kazakhstan", written by Doctor of History, Professor Kuzembayuly A. and Doctor of History, Professor Abil E. A., as well as others memorable gifts.
