"Model of teaching history in a modern school through the prism of the updated content of education"

On March 4, 2018, within the framework of the Week of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, a round table was held on the theme "Model of teaching history in a modern school through the prism of the updated content of education", organized by the teachers Bekmagambetova M.Zh., Anasova A.B., Isenov O.I. The purpose of the event: discussion and analysis of the correspondence of the contents of textbooks on the history of the renewed cycle and the training program, as well as the use of methods and technologies of instruction. The dean of the social and humanitarian faculty Shahaman Z.B., took part in the work.
The present teachers of secondary schools (Fedorovskaya, Altynsarinskaya, Shcherbakovskaya, Taranavskaya, Auliekolskaya, Zatobolskaya, Glazunovka) and urban (№20, №115, №10, №9, №15, №17), exchanged experience on teaching history in 5 and 7 classes, as well as shared their impressions on topical issues: the quality of the content of educational material in the textbooks, the effectiveness of the application of COP and SOCH in teaching, in what direction and how the teacher should prepare in the context of the updated content of education.
The participants of the discussion noted that new perspectives appeared in the renewed content of education. In this regard, our task is to constantly update the methods of teaching, the ability to master technology and effectively use it.
During the round table the candidate of historical sciences. Isenov O. I. told about the main directions of teaching history to the students of the specialty "History". Master of History Anasova A.B. talked about the changes in education and explained the specifics of solving problems with assignments in textbooks. In general, the round table was held in a dialogue and feedback format.
At the end of the event, the head of the department of history, candidate of historical sciences. Bekmagambetova M.Zh., summed up the results of the round table and handed certificates of participation in the round table.
