On January 28, 2018, the final stage of the student competition of start-up projects “Start up Bolashak 2019” was held, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the university and the assignment of the KSPU named after Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Academician of the NAS of RK Sultangazin Umirzak Makhmutovich. The final involved 5 teams of educational programs "Tourism", "Physical Culture and Sports", "Visual Arts and Drawing", "History", "Foreign Language: two foreign languages."
3 places and a certificate for 50,000 tenge were awarded to students of the study program “Visual Arts and Drawing” Abdrakhmanov Dilara, Kauataeva Darina, Ibraev Alisher with a project on the subject - Studio of souvenir products “HANDMADE FROM KAZAKHSTAN” (scientific leaders: Ph.D. .S., Senior teacher of the department Zhusupova D.Zh.). The aim of the project is to create a studio for making handmade souvenirs from felt. This project is aimed at the implementation of the program article of the President “Seven Facets of the Great Steppe”. The project will give students the opportunity to explore the traditional Kazakh arts and crafts, research work will help to recreate the lost secrets of the ancient craft.
The mastered skills of felting used in practice will help show the creative potential of the young generation, will serve as a basis for their further development.
