Cooperation Agreement with Rector of Final International University, Northern Cyprus

On 5^th June, the rector of Final International University, Professor Abdullah Oztoprak arrived in Kostanay State Pedagogical University at the invitation of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism. The aim of the visit was to meet the Institute Management and determine forms of cooperation and various ways of interaction between the institutions. Eva Smetanova, Doctor of Pedagogy and Philosophiae Doctor, the vice-rector for internalization was closely engaged in preparation of the agreement, the meeting itself and discussion about the issues related.

The rector of Final International University was particularly interested in the possibilities of internships for KSPU’s students to study at master’s degree programmes in Northern Cyprus, student and teacher training in Summer School. These issues were discussed during a meeting with the rector of Kostanay State Pedagogical University Abil Erkin. The meeting resulted in signing an Agreement of Cooperation between the two institutions.

Professor Abdullah Oztoprak visited the French Cultural Centre at KSPU, met with students, and was introduced to the peculiarities of the French language at KSPU. He also had a talk with the Selection Committee - he was interested in student recruitment within the specialties of "Tourism" and "Foreign Language: two foreign languages".
