From 15 to 16 February 2019, the city held the Festival of Ski Sports and the organization of massive ski launches "Health Ski Track-2019". The main goals and objectives of which were: the development of skiing in Kostanay, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle among the general population of the city, and the identification of promising athletes for the formation of a national team of the city. The festival was attended by: schools, colleges, universities, labor collectives and everyone.
Among the teams of educational institutions were students of KSPU, KSU, KINEU, KSTU, Kostanay Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
More than 40 people from Kostanay State Pedagogical University were represented, mainly students of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Dispute and Tourism. Therefore, it is not surprising that our team won the team championship among universities in terms of mass character and number of participants.
The program of the XXth Spartakiad of Universities included ski races for a distance of 3 km. among boys and girls.
The winner of the race among young men was Dunenbayev Ruslan, a 2nd year student of the FPCSaT, 2nd place went to Makalov Sergey, a 3rd year student of the FPCSaT, the third was Makushenko Vyacheslav, a 3rd year student of the FPCSaT. Among the girls, Natalya Chernykh won the 2nd year student of the FPCSaT, Christina Prutnikova, the 3rd year student of the FPCSaT, became the silver winner.
The winners of the competition in the program of the ski race among universities was the team of KSPU.
