Career guidance work in a teacher training College

Professional orientation is a system of psychological, diagnostic, and educational activities that help a teenager entering adulthood successfully choose a profession that takes into account their interests, abilities, and social needs.
On February 26, 2020, teachers of the psychological and pedagogical faculty conducted career guidance work at the KOSTANAY pedagogical College of the Department of education of the Kostanay region akimat. The College hosted a meeting of future 2020 graduates in a spacious auditorium with an interactive whiteboard.
Teachers provided information about the University, educational programs, advantages of studying at KSPU, as well as the main provisions of the new law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "on the status of a teacher". The students of the College were presented with informative booklets that include all the necessary information about the University and stressed that studying at our University is the way to a bright future.
The meeting was held in the format of live communication, specific examples and possible options for admission to KSPU both on the basis of a state educational grant and on a paid basis. The gathered students actively asked their questions.
Teachers and students of the College were given information memos, leaflets, brochures about the University and educational programs,and other information materials on paper.
Applicants were convinced that studying at KSPU provides excellent prospects, and extracurricular life gives a lot of opportunities for creative, scientific and social self-realization of students.
