Within a week of HLS November 12, 2015 at psychological-educational faculty of the pedagogical Institute senior faculty members of the Department of psychology Moldakhmetova G. M. and Akhmetbekova Z. D. were organized and held a meeting of students of the specialty "Education and psychology" and "Psychology" with psychologist of Kostanay regional psychiatric hospital Karabaeva M.
The event had an educational and preventive orientation. The psychologist told the students of 1-2 courses about the specifics of work of psychological service psychiatric hospital answered questions regarding mental disorders, their causes, associated with the influence of various factors and methods of prevention, detection and treatment of mental illness. In addition, the meeting addressed the issues of prevention of alcohol and drug addiction. Interested students had the opportunity to receive an explanatory leaflet. The activity and interest of students to the affected subject is proof of its undeniable relevance and need for the continued conduct of such activities.
