«Functions and educational potential of the family»

On November 14, 2017, within the framework of the «Рухани жанғыру» program, an open class was conducted by аssociate professor of the Department of Preschool and Primary Education, S.A. Baizhanova, candidate of pedagogical sciences. A lecture on the topic «Functions and educational potential of the family» was held for the third year students of the specialty «Pedagogy and methodology of primary education» in the discipline «Theory and methodology of educational work in an elementary school».
The purpose of the lesson was to reveal the main provisions of the family and demographic policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, to study the types of families, styles, principles and functions of family education, to analyze the forms of work with the parents of children of primary school age.
A determining role in the formation of people's spiritual values, competitiveness, pragmatism, the preservation of national identity, the cult of knowledge belongs to the family. Demographic issues are one of the most important components of state policy. In 1997, in the Kazakhstan-2030 Strategy, calculated for 33 years, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, emphasized: «A strong demographic and migration policy should be put to the level of the leading national security priorities». The republic has built a systemic and comprehensive work to strengthen the family and improve the quality of life of the people of Kazakhstan.
During the lesson, the students actively discussed, expressed their point of view about the family and upbringing, answered the problem questions. During the lecture, the best presentations about the family, about their parents were viewed. The videos of the social plan were analyzed, group work was carried out to protect the types and functions of families, variants of forms of work with parents of children of primary school age were suggested.
