“Youth and Innovations - 2020”

In the period from February 27 to March 3, 2020, the regional competition of innovative projects among students of schools and colleges “Youth and Innovations - 2020” was held for the first time in the Kostanay State Pedagogical University named after U. Sultangazin. This event was organized by the U-Smart Business Incubator in order to promote the disclosure of the innovative and entrepreneurial potential of youth, the active involvement of school and college students in project activities, and to increase the level of competence of young innovators.
More than 70 applications were received for consideration by the tender commission. Based on such selection criteria as innovativeness, social significance, relevance in society, the possibility of making a profit, etc., 19 projects entered the final of the competition. All ideas are very diverse, in such areas as:
- IT technologies;
• Rational nature management, resource conservation;
• Robotics;
• Devices, technologies that make life easier for citizens;
• Mobile applications;
• Environmental innovation;
• Innovations in education;
• Social projects.
Innovative projects among students of schools and colleges were evaluated by an expert commission composed of representatives of the State Institution for Youth Policy of the Akimat of the Kostanai Region, the regional branch of Damu Entrepreneurship Development Fund JSC in Kostanay, the Atameken Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Kostanai Region, and Social Entrepreneurship Corporation "Tobol", Kostanay State Pedagogical University named after U. Sultangazin Finalists are the following projects:
1st place - Tleumurzin Bakhtiar
2nd place - Atalin Sultan
2nd place - Zhumadeilov Alisher
3rd place - Furdypal Denis, Bitanatova Madina
3rd place - Zueva Darya, Makluk Regina, Usova Catherine
According to the results of the competition, the winners received cash prizes and certificates.
