Seminar on improving the quality of scientific works by means of using Scopus & Science Direct

On 23 of October 2018 the Office of science and international relations organized a training seminar on improving the quality of scientific works by means of using Scopus & Science Direct. The representative of Elsevier company, Dina Shaykhislam, spoke in detail about the possibilities and rules of publication in journals indexed by Scopus.
The seminar covered the issues of improving the efficiency of search in Science Direct, accessing the necessary material regardless of the used search engine. Also there were demonstrated the basics of working with Scopus database, and the criteria for evaluating the quality of the journal for publication were detailed. During the seminar, participants actively asked their questions, to which they received a simple and understandable answer from the speaker of the event.
After completion of the event, a representative of Elsevier, Dina Shaykhislam, assisted teachers in registering on the site www.scopus.com for further use of the resource in order to find the necessary information and selection of a journal for publication.
