The final of «Startup «Bolashak» – 2019

The final of the internal university student competition “Startup “Bolashak” – 2019 was held on January 28, 2019, which was dedicated to the 80^th anniversary of the university and the assignment of the KSPU named after U.M. Sultangazin.

The wellbeing of any country depends on its innovative and technological potential. Therefore one of the main directions of state policy of Kazakhstan is startups’ development that the last several years promote many successful projects’ promotion on the international level. The following state support of startups is carried out in Kazakhstan: Tax support, State programs of development; Business incubators and startup accelerators, various competitions on determination the best ideas and so on.

Also the support of innovations on the basis of educational institutions is carried out. In KSPU startup projects began to develop rather recently, but their number and quality constantly grows. There is a tradition to hold a competition of startup projects the purpose of which is disclosure of the youth’s business potential and creation of conditions for support of the students’ ideas. Last year 22 applications, this year 31 applications were submitted for participation in the competition. All ideas are very various, there are social projects among them which have the huge importance in our society. There are also innovative ideas concerning various spheres of life.

Projects of finalists were evaluated by the commission of experts from SI "Department of the Youth Policy of the Kostanay Region Akimat", regional branch of JSC “Fund of Business Development “Damu”, Chambers of businessmen of the Kostanay region “Atameken”, the Youth resource center of the Kostanay region, Social and enterprise corporation "Tobol".

The following projects became finalists:

1st place - Grigorieva Valeria "The second life to paper!". The significance of the project lies in the fact that this project will contribute to a responsible respect for the environment and natural resources, reducing the amount of waste entering the city landfill; draw attention to environmental issues and the need for recycling of natural resources. The social effect is that the funds from the collection of waste paper will be used to assist students who are in an unstable financial situation. By implementing this project in our university, we will be able to enter the number of educational institutions that not only contribute to the protection of the environment, but also direct the funds received from the delivery of waste paper to charity.

The implementation of this project at the university will attract the attention of the media, which will further enhance the image of the University and its entry into the number of educational institutions dealing with the issues of environmental education, that help preserve the country's natural potential.

In addition, this project is a kind of agitation that motivates other educational institutions of the city and country to participate in this project, which will contribute not only to the local formation of views on the preservation of natural potential and enhance the economy of our country, the implementation of environmental protection policies, cultural and spiritual development nation.

2d place - Zolina Alyena, Rakhmayev Denis, Sheludko Evgenia "Service for creation the city informative quests "QostaQuest"". The goal of the start-up project is to organize educational urban quests designed to acquaint schoolchildren with the main sightseeings of the city, as part of the project article “Ruhani Zhangyru”. 3 demo routes were developed on the basis of the Internet platform izi.travel: “Monuments and monuments of Kostanay”; "Echo of the past"; "Kostanay sports".

Each of the routes is aimed at studying the history of Kostanay. Nowadays, a similar service is not represented on the services market of the Kostanay region. A distinctive feature of this service is precisely the educational and cognitive nature, and also the involvement of students in active pastime.

3d place - Abdrakhmanova Dilara, Kauatayeva Darina, Ibrayev Alisher "Studio of souvenir products "Handmade from Kazakhstan". The aim of the project is to create an image of the studio at KSPU for the manufacture of handmade souvenirs. The project becomes significant due to its focus on integrating traditional Kazakh crafts into the modern aesthetic environment, which will serve not only the development of creative abilities, but also the education of patriotism of the young generation.

The winners earned a material reward on implementation of their projects by the results of the competition.
