The VIth winter Universiade of RK among higher educational institutions

From February 6 to February 17 in Almaty there had taken place the VI winter Universiade of RK among higher educational institutions, RK devoted to the 25 anniversary of Independence. The team of the Kostanay state pedagogical institute had taken the honourable 4th place among 144 teams from 34 higher education institutions of RK.
The most memorable students of institute became: Tikhonova Olga is the world class master of sports on short track taken the 1st place on distances of 1000 m, the 1st place on distances of 1500 m, the 3rd place on distances of 500 m and the 2nd place in female relay; Suleymenov Kuandyk who had taken the 1st place at a distance of 500 m; Boyko Anastasia - the 1st place in sprint on cross-country skiing; Klenko Alexander is the world class master of sports on speed skating who has taken the 3rd place at a distance of 1000 m, Radayev Nikita is the Master of Sports in short track who has taken the 3rd place at a distance of 1500 m, Afanasyeva Victoria - the candidate for the Master of Sports in short track has taken the 2nd place in female relay. By results of Universiade Tikhonova O. and Suleymenov K. are applicants for participation in the World Universiade of 2017 in Almaty.
