11th of April there was a meeting of a representative of the Embassy of the USA in Kazakhstan, teacher of the English language Bee Jenkins http://kazakhstan.usembassy.gov/bee-jenkins-fellow.html with the vice-rector on educational and methodological work Tolegen M.A., dean of the faculty of foreign language Doroshok E.L., and head of the chair of foreign languages Kudritskaya M.I.
During the meeting with a representative of the Embassy of the USA were discussed terms of development of a program of students and teachers' academic mobility between KSPI and Kent state university, Ohio.
Bee Jenkins lived and worked in Ecuador, Italy, Armenia and United States. She got her Master's degree in TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) in Ohio University, where she taught English language during 4 years. She also spent a year at Russian-Armenian University in Yerevan, where she developed and taught courses on development of pronunciation in the English language (accent reduction) and preparation to work.
